Steven

Steven has a varied background, seven years within the hospitality industry across multiple countries, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain and the UK. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree in London, with a BA in Business and German Language Studies, he joined a global credit rating agency, Moody’s Analytics. After two years at Moody’s he spent six year at S&P Global as associate director of sales, covering Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Cyprus and Israel. Steven’s career continued through SunGard Financial Systems, Thomson Reuters and now working for Refinitiv a London Stock Exchange Group company in the United States. His current role as Partner Manager in New York City includes working with some of the company’s strategic partnerships, across the fintech, wealth management and investment research firms in North America. Over the years Steven continued his education, has a MA in European Studies, an MBA from Cambridge University and a Diploma in Coaching also from Cambridge University. Since 2011 Steven has been mentoring through the Westminster University Mentoring Program, helping mostly non-EU students to introduce them to the financial services industry in London, prepare them for employment; having worked with over 100 people, students, early careers as well as mid-career professionals associated with financial services or sales. Steven with his recent Coaching Diploma is helping him to reach a wider audience and he will continue supporting people who are ready for change fulfil their career aspirations and job career moves.
